Mixology Makes Every Party Merry

At a recent Slow Food Holiday party, we had the pleasure of Tory O’Haire (AKA The Starving Artist) serving up three of his special cocktails. As much as I love Michigan beer and wine, there is something to be said about the festive atmosphere that cocktails bring.

I’ve written on this blog before about Michigan vodka, and this year Theo Oresky and his team of merry mixologists from Small Plates in Detroit have a couple of crafty High Liquor cocktail recipes that are sure to get you in the Holidaze spirit!

  • 1/4 oz of Galliano
  • 1/4 oz of Blue Curacao
  • 1/2 oz of Lemon Juice

Pour ingredients into shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into martini glass. Garnish with one maraschino cherry.
