Chimney Creek Farm invites you to join with us in celebrating National CSA Day this Friday, February 26th. If you have ever thought about eating better and improving your health National CSA Day is the perfect time to explore making it happen.
Members join a CSA to obtain high quality, fresh vegetables and fruits, improve their health, and to support a local farmer. CSA members report an increase in vegetable consumption and overall improvement in their diet as benefits of CSA membership.
When you become a member of Chimney Creek CSA you are purchasing a “share” of a season’s worth of food from us. We commit to raising your food with sustainable and environmentally responsible practices. You also know that your food is grown locally, handled minimally, and not shipped from across the country or even across the world!
CSA members pay for an entire season of food upfront. This early bulk payment enables your farmer to plan for the season, purchase new seed, make equipment repairs, and more. Not to worry, payment plans are available and you can start right now with only $100 down.
All new members receive a special cookbook written for CSA members and fresh seasonal eating: “Farm-Fresh and Fast: Easy Recipes and Tips for Making the Most of Fresh, Seasonal Foods” by the FairShare CSA Coalition.
All members receive our free e-book, “The CSA Survival Guide”. It’s our own creation that will help you make the most of your CSA share. It’s packed with basic and advance knowledge and lots of hints, tips, and even kitchen gadget reviews.
