Are you ready for the 6th Annual Michigan Winter Beer Festival?

No doubt about it, the Winter Beer Festival is growing in popularity each year. (Is it any wonder, with the great beer that we produce here in West Michigan?)

If you are lucky enough to be one of the 5400 who have tickets to the event on February 26, head over to The Mash to see a list of all 50+ breweries that will be represented and make a game plan.

“It’s more than one person can get through reasonably,” said Scott A. Graham, Executive Director of the Michigan Brewers Guild.

Another piece of advice? Get your tickets in December, as it sells out every year, in spite of offering more tickets every year. This year they offered more than 1,000 more than last year.

Graham doesn’t see Michigan’s craft beer scene waning any time soon. “It’s a snowball that’s still pretty small, it will gain momentum and get bigger and bigger for many years to come. Michigan is the great beer state!”

If you weren’t fortunate enough to get tickets, there are some other festivals this year that you can attend.
